MotoGP 21
Milestone and Dorna Sports S.L. debut gameplay from MotoGP™21, the upcoming next installment of the unique two-wheel motorsport simulation for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One incl. Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ and PC. MotoGP 21 will be available digitally and as a boxed product at brick-and-mortar retailers on April 22, 2021.
Due to the continuous development of the game series, MotoGP 21 will also include a variety of innovations in the game mechanics. One of these new features is the well-known “Long Lap Penalty” – a penalty for riders who use unfair behavior during the course of the race, such as taking shortcuts or basic disregard for the rules of the race.
The penalty consists of adding a few seconds of extra driving time to a lap. These additional seconds are achieved on a partial section outside the regular race track. This section adds extra meters of track to the regular race track, so that the total lap time is a few seconds longer than the regular possible lap time. In fact, this procedure is a useful way for the stewards to impose a minor penalty, but one that could already cost the rider in question his current position.
MotoGP ™ 21 promises a more realistic experience than ever before and the gameplay offers an electrifying, strategically challenging and adrenaline-pumping racing simulation. More details on MotoGP 21 will be announced soon.
