The King of Fighters XV Deluxe Edition Out Now
SNK CORPORATION and Koch Media are proud to announce that THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (KOF XV) Digital Deluxe Edition launches today giving players a 3-day head start ahead of the global launch. This edition is exclusively available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Xbox Series X|S. All other editions of the game will launch simultaneously on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC on 17 February 2022.
KOF XV features a whopping 39 characters, including classic popular characters, resurrected fan favorites, and those crucial to the unfolding events. There will also be 2 DLC teams (3 characters each) to be released in the future. This is the first time the heroes from each Saga have come together, making this the hottest dream match yet!
The latest instalment in the King of Fighters saga continues from the previous title’s story mode. Heroes from the Orochi, NESTS, and Ash Sagas have all joined KOF XV, and this time, the story is coming to an explosive climax!
KOF XV features the classic 3 on 3 team battle system with improvements to the MAX Mode, MAX Mode (Quick), and RUSH mechanics, and also features a plethora of special moves. Rollback netcode has been adopted to reduce lag in online matches, allowing for smoother online play. KOF XV features a wide variety of online features including RANKED MATCH, CASUAL MATCH, ROOM MATCH, and ONLINE TRAINING.
