3D Realms WRATH: Aeon of Ruin Hunts Horrors on PC and Consoles Spring 2023
WRATH: Aeon of Ruin, the dark fantasy horror FPS powered by the original Quake engine from publishers 3D Realms and Fulqrum Publishing, leaves Steam Early Access and starts its brutal journey on PC, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in Spring 2023.
The brand new trailer for Hunt Down the Guardians of the Old world showed a never before seen Guardian and enemy, new weapons, and levels. The team continued to work diligently to give fans the most fleshed out first person shooting experience possible. Explore the world of WRATH in its visceral combat while discovering non-linear, expansive hub worlds.
Today’s video introduces the first of these, the Lady of Ascension. After collecting the five relic shards in the first hub, defeating the Guardian will lead you to Episode 2. While the Outlanders’ were once the hunters, something new now hunts them: prowlers, creatures prone to becoming invisible for sneak attacks.
Combat these new foes with three new weapons: Crystalizer: a chain weapon that targets multiple opponents. The alternate fire modes turn enemy units into frozen crystal formations that increase the damage dealt by the Chain Gun Lance. The secondary fire unleashing souls fires off a ranged attack.
