Game composer and accomplished remixer bLiNd has put together an album celebrating the classic action role playing game Secret of Mana. “Video Game LoFi: Secret of Mana” features twelve tracks masterfully blended to reflect the vibrant yet melancholic atmosphere of Hiroki Kikuta’s original soundscape.
“Video Game LoFI: Secret of Mana” holds many surprises on each track. Uplifting guitars, angelic vocals, warm bass and crunchy lofi drums are only some of the sounds to uncover. Listeners will be immersed in the game’s high fantasy world and may just find themselves transported there much like bLiNd himself.
“Lofi Hip Hop seemed to be the most viable genre to cover the selection of tracks and my goal was to stay somewhat close to the original so as not to lose their feel and embellish the rest with swinging beats and basslines. I am proud of this one.”
