MechWarrior 5 is set to be released on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox in 2024 by Piranha Games

Piranha Games has announced the upcoming release of MechWarrior 5: Clans, a standalone video game in the MechWarrior series. This new installment will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles in the following year. MechWarrior 5: Clans represents a notable improvement in gameplay and storytelling, offering players a linear campaign where they can assume the role of Clan Smoke Jaguar during the significant Clan Invasion conflict, beginning in 3050.

MechWarrior 5: Clans is the sequel to Piranha’s successful game, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. The previous game had a campaign-based, open-ended, procedural gameplay and sold over 1.5 million units. It has received a Very Positive ranking of 9/10 on Steam, based on more than 7,500 user reviews.
