Mushihimesama – The review

Like a lot of people, I am an old timer and there is nothing better than a good session of beat ’em all or shoot them’ all in 2D with bullets flying around, and then you die….But games like this are pouring out of Google Play, but what about console?? It’s so much better to play on a classic controller! Ok I may be a little harsh, there are good games out there like Ghost Blade on Switch. Back to our main game here!
I had the pleasure of getting a copy from CAVE Interactive Co., Ltd and, to my surprise, Woah! What a beauty!

I was blown away by this game. It is everything a shoot-em-up should be. The graphics are beautiful, the music is awesome, and the game is just challenging enough while never feeling unfair. This game also has one of the best control in any video game I’ve ever played, and I want to finish the game if I had all day long… but maybe I will.
We love the different difficulty modes, so you decide if you want to lose fast or not!

Cave Interactive has done a great work on this game and I will be looking out for more from them, since they have mastered this genre, again thanks for reminding me great title like Super Aleste and Axelay (super hard fyi).
Mushihimesama is a great pleasure because you have your shoot at finishing the game and enjoy your time with the game.

Pros
Smooth control of your aircraft Bullets to dodge everywhere it's like 4th of July! Great effects & soundtracks, Great Bosses and kinda unlimited credits. A game you can finish (for real)
Cons
A little Repetitive Not many options in terms of Firepower. Some slow motion moments can be disturbing.
What We Think
I have been playing a lot of Mushihimesama on my Nintendo Switch, and it is truly one of the best games I've played in a while. If you're looking for a challenging, beautifully crafted game with striking visuals, this is the game for you.

I am passionate about “Heroic Fantasy” and “Beat Them all” games on Nintendo Game System (I hate SEGA). Now that I am old, I love retro gaming, since I don’t have much time. Feels good to watch endings though…
