Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King comes out of Early Access on 17 February

Get ready for an epic adventure through a forgotten land as this 17 February, action RPG/platformer Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King releases out of Early Access on Steam. Featuring distinct lands to explore, deep lore to unearth, lies to see through and of course dangerous foes to defeat, Shattered is finally preparing for its full release.

Funded via Kickstarter in 2016 after nearly a decade of world-building through tabletop RPG campaigns, Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King brings to life part of the universe that Redlock Studio created.

The old world is gone, lost with the disappearance of the King. Reforge reality in this dark action RPG through skill-based combat, innovative open-world platforming and the testimonies of survivors… some more trustworthy than others. Are you ready, Wanderer? Hypnos awaits you here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1045180/Shattered__Tale_of_the_Forgotten_King/

Features

  • A new world to discover: Explore a gorgeously rendered semi-open world with branching paths and mysterious secrets.
  • Monstrous enemies to defeat: Observe your foes, anticipate their moves and use their own attacks against them. Switch between close-combat sword fights and long distance spell slinging, and experience seamless transitions between full 3D and 2.5D battles.
  • A story all your own: Not all survivors of Hypnos are trustworthy, and there are those who seek to use you for their own ends. The world will remember the choices you make during your adventure, and only those with focus and dedication will see through to the truth beyond.
  • Constant progression: Whether through combat or exploration, the Wanderer will evolve. How, is up to you. The choice is yours but choose carefully: not every path can be taken.

I am passionate about “Heroic Fantasy” and “Beat Them all” games on Nintendo Game System (I hate SEGA). Now that I am old, I love retro gaming, since I don’t have much time. Feels good to watch endings though…
