Zoria: Age of Shattering – a tactical fantasy RPG has a free demo out

It’s time to delve into Zoria – a tactical RPG with fluid turn based combat, crafting, and follower management. As of September 22, 2020, Tiny Trinket Studios has published a free demo on Steam. We’ll travel across two worlds and complete 12 quest lines. A Kickstarter crowdfunding project was recently launched, for those who wish to participate in the development process.Zoria: Age Of Shattering is a tactical roleplaying video games where players take control of a party of adventurers exploring a vast world full of secrets and dangers. The story revolves around a group of heroes trying to save the world from evil forces. They must overcome obstacles such as monsters, traps, puzzles, and much more. The gameplay combines elements of strategy, tactics, and action RPGs.Combat is turn-based and features a grid system. Characters move along the map and attack enemies in adjacent squares. Combatants gain experience points (XP) after defeating enemies and completing tasks. XP levels increase stats and unlock new abilities. During battle, characters can perform actions such as blocking enemy attacks, casting spells, healing allies, and so forth. Some actions require specific conditions to be met before being performed. For example, if a character needs to sleep during the night, he/she cannot cast spells.Characters level up by gaining experience points.

Leveling up increases stats and unlocks new abilities. At higher levels, characters learn new spells and acquire better equipment.Players can create custom parties consisting of three characters. Customization options include class types, gender, appearance, and voice acting. Character creation also includes customization of gear and weapons.Gear is divided into four categories: armor, weapon, accessories, and consumables. Armor protects against physical damage. Weapons deal direct damage to opponents. Accessories improve performance of certain attributes. Consumables restore health and mana.In addition to the main storyline, players can engage in sidequels featuring optional objectives. These sidequels provide extra rewards and help advance the main plot.Sidequels are unlocked by finding secret doors scattered throughout the world. Sidequels feature multiple paths and may lead to different outcomes depending on choices made during the course of the adventure.Some sidequels involve solving puzzles. Others involve fighting bosses.
